PCDepot - COVID-19 Operational Update

We're Open and Here for You!
As the global Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak continues to evolve, we continue to navigate through the unprecedented challenges posed as a result.

We'd like to offer our thoughts to everyone during this time and hope that we can all band together to extend patience, care and kindness for each other as circumstances become more challenging over the coming months.

As a team that is passionate about where we work and our customer’s needs, we think it’s important to share with you some of the steps we're undertaking to keep things running as normally as possible so we may continue to support your business and supply requirements.

Our 5 Distribution Centres around the country remain open and fully operational for deliveries. Our Team as always is ready to help you!

We're taking extra steps to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our team and customers alike. Extra steps have been undertaken to ensure our distribution centres and offices are clean and hygienic environments. These measures include increased frequency of cleaning and sanitisation in all locations.

We are actively following all Australian Government advices including mandatory isolation periods for all team members returning from overseas. We are ensuring our team is supported with clear health and hygiene protocols as well as any support needed in instances of imposed self-isolation or confirmed cases of COVID-19. We continue to monitor and act on all Government updates and communicate with the team on travel advice and health monitoring. Here is a handy resource to guide you in determining COVID-19 symptoms.

We are making decisions and acting quickly to follow all official directions and advice.

Operations
We are doing our best to minimise any disruptions to our day-to-day operations. However, as a result of changed protocols by a number of our freight providers and vendor partners we are experiencing the following changes.

Freight
Our main freight partners have made the decision to remove signatures on deliveries to minimise or avoid the risk of contracting or spreading the COVID-19 virus.

The delivery driver is to maintain safe distance from the receiver and will ask the receiver for their name and enter that information into their scanner which will be used as proof of delivery.

If there is no one to receive the parcel on site, it will either be carded or left with an ATL as per normal procedures.

Supply Chain
Some of our Vendors are now facing disruptions at both the manufacturing factory level and transit networks.

While we are currently holding substantial inventory, there may be potential disruptions and delays in fulfilling orders due to the availability of stock.

Customer order quantities are being monitored daily to minimise panic buying and the bulk hoarding of products.

Please be assured that we will endeavour to take action to minimize any interruption whilst staying in line with the government and health organization’s recommendations. We know there are many unknowns at this time but we do want to assure you that we will be doing all we can to keep supporting you in the safest possible way. Please take care and thank you to all of our customers for your continued support.

Kind Regards,
